MANDY GATHERS

Hi there!

My name is Mandy & I have been passionate about tattooing for as long as I can remember.

I did my first tattoos on myself when I was 13 years old. (Which I still have)

I would draw in all of my notebooks at school and my family would always find me in my room blasting some great rock music and drawing for hours. In high school I was asked by one of my teachers what I would like to do for a profession and I told him I wanted to tattoo.

The year that a local shop first opened, I was set up to do a job shadowing with the one and only Andy Kiwacz. After my job shadowing experience with Andy, that only furthered my passion to want to do this line of work.

I began buying books and studying anything and everything I could about tattooing.

Once I was able to financially pull it off it was game on for my dream job and I’ve been going on roughly 5 years strong.  

When I started tattooing I thought I was going to love color the most but after time went on I developed a love for black and grey tattoos.

I love any tattoo that I can put all my focus into and I love taking clients ideas and making them more personal. I don’t have a preferred style so I’m up for all challenges but so far my favorites have been military tats, realism and floral!

A little personal info on me.

I have the greatest family, friends and clients anyone can ask for.

I wouldn’t have made it here if it weren’t for all of you so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have an amazing husband and the perfect son (Dominic) and daughter (Alva). They are the focus of all of my time when I’m not at the shop slinging ink!

Put on some good classic rock and I’ll be your best friend. I have a ton of pets and love talking about all of them. I’m all about cars, good music and family!
